April 2026 marks one full year of our newest gallery, the Carlile Gallery being open. As well as our brand new shop and welcome space. We’d love if you came to celebrate with us on Sunday 26 April.

There will be lots happening on the day including:

• FREE entry to Carlisle Gallery – no admission? No problem
• FREE tours of the Carlisle Gallery with volunteer Diane at 11.30am, 1.30pm & 2.30pm – book here
• Drop-in Felt Biscuit Magnet family craft 1-4pm
• Sketching with Laura Rutter based on your favourite museum objects 1am-3pm
• Birthday Cake in Café Tullie, with a free slice to the first 100 visitors to say happy birthday in the Café
• An appearance form Tullie Mouse with the chance for a special souvenir photograph
• A free gift for anyone that purchases admission on the day
