Are you between 16 and 21 and looking to gain experience working in the events industry? We have an exciting summer volunteer opportunity for young people helping us deliver Tullie’s Big Summer of Events.
Dates: Various dates between 24 July-5 September . We are looking for young volunteers who can help out one or two sessions a week over our Big Summer event programme.
Purpose: To help visitors and families get the best out of their visit to any of our Big Summer events.
Background: This summer we are doing something different and have an exciting variety of things to do over the holidays, from Magic Mondays, Science and Animal workshops, Bouncefest, Silent discos and much more!

Working with our events and commercial team- learning the process of event management, so helping with…
- Setting up events
- Welcome and activity management
- Working with our suppliers and our systems
- Assisting the team to deliver fun filled days to the visitors

Skills and qualities:
You do not need any experience, but these can be noisy sessions. You will be dealing with the public so must feel comfortable talking to people.
You will feel fully supported by our events and commercial team and this volunteer role is a good chance to learn and understand about the events industry. There may be future opportunities to volunteer at other Tullie events.
