The new mural on the 1990s extension of Tullie was designed by street artist Atma in collaboration with people seeking asylum from countries including Eritrea, Somalia, Sudan, Kenya, Uganda, Iran and Iraq. It was organised by Blank Wall Assassins and became part of their Carlisle Street Art Trail. Temple of Cultures is its name.

In this special drop-in event you can join some of the contributing artists to learn what some of the patterns mean, and design and create your own mini Temple of Cultures! Designed and suitable for children and young people ages 3 – 17. Support from adults may be needed for younger children.
