Carlisle Zine Fest

We’ve now hosted and supported two Carlisle Zine Festivals at Tullie, and both events have been an energetic and inclusive platform for zine makers to showcase their creativity, connect with audiences, and sell their work.

With over 20 stall holders representing a range of ages and artistic styles – these events have stayed true to the DIY ethos of zine culture and have offered emerging and established creators’ a platform and visibility.

The addition of zine-making workshops encouraged participation and engagement, offering visitors a hands-on experience of the art form.

From 2026 Carlisle Zine Fest will be co-produced with the Tullie Young Producer group with more of a focus on participation and nurturing creative talent.
