We’ve got some exciting news to banish the January blues. Over the weekend of Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 February admission to Tullie will be free. There’s no catch – although we hope you’ll treat yourself to a lovely little souvenir or a top-notch scone.
This will kick off a bumper February Half Term full of events and activities. We’ve got the classic Tullie family crafts as well as favourites like Bubbleology and a brand-new time travel adventure with everyone’s favourite, Tullie Mouse. Event tickets are all bookable now.
We expect this weekend to be mega busy, so please book your free admission tickets in advance to save a bit of time when you arrive. There’s no fee, it will just save our lovely front desk team from being too overloaded on the day!
We do need to let you know that, unfortunately, we aren’t going to be able to open all our new spaces (new welcome area, shop and Carlisle Gallery) on 15 February as planned. This is a complex project and needs a little more time to make everything perfect. We will have a new date for the opening of these spaces soon and hope the free weekend serves as a small token of our appreciation for your patience and support.
All our galleries and exhibitions are open including Border and Roman Galleries along with our critically acclaimed Sheila Fell exhibition. And, exciting news, our transformed Café Tullie will open on 15 February, after being closed since winter 2023. No more peeks through the windows, you can come in!
