Event Details
We’re proud to be hosting ‘Re-write the narrative’ in the Tullie community Gallery – a community exhibition that brings together care-experienced young people from all backgrounds to share their lived experience through creativity and words.
This display gives the group a platform to have their voices heard and aims to challenge and re-write the narrative for other care-experienced children, young people and adults.
Located on the Tullie Border Galleries. Admission costs apply. If you’re part of a youth or community group – please email community@tullie.org.uk if you need free entry for anyone aged 18 or over.
The words ‘Care-experienced’ are used to refer to anyone who has been in the care of their local authority at any point in their life, no matter how long.
This includes being in foster care, residential care, or kinship care, and also applies to those who have been adopted after a period in care or have been looked after at home under a supervision order.
